SUMMARY


This position requires broad business knowledge, the ability to drive change (People, Process & Technology), and strong project management skills. Team members in this role must be able to organize and lead many projects of varying complexity and size, as well as possess excellent people and communication skills and independently interact with team members, business contacts and executive management. Success in this position is closely linked to improving processes and technology within the business as well as within the department, along with maintaining a broad spectrum of business system and technology experience.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


Team Development



  • Manage a team of information technology professionals including performance management, annual reviews, time and attendance, career coaching or training, and technical and personal development program guidance for team members

  • Assign projects to team members; establish a team quality standard

  • Model teamwork skills effectively in a shared service environment


Business Analysis



  • Conduct business studies; prepare and present results as appropriate for the audience

  • Lead business process audits; analyze, model and implement recommendations

  • Identify opportunities and drive change


Project Management and Administration



  • Organize and manage multiple projects of various sizes and complexities as well as budgets

  • Communicate and educate the organization on project status and deliverables

  • Ensure project plan methodology is established and followed

  • Ensure project scope changes are managed and expectations are met

  • Act as a resource to assist staff in resolving project issues and programming strategies

  • Identify projects as part of annual planning and strategy


Production Support



  • Manage Application issues (ensure timely completion of mandated changes and communicate follow-up items)

  • Maintain overall process knowledge of various business systems

  • Implement/maintain a production support infrastructure



  • Develop work processes, ensure adherence to instructions and standards and recommend testing criteria for ongoing software development


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS



  • Four-year degree (BA, BS or similar)

  • Eight (8) or more years of experience in Information Technology or related experience

  • One (1) or more years of management experience


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science

  • Project Management certification, or experience leading large impact projects in a business environment

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
